Afternoon Snack Idea: Gluten free, Vegan Tahini Cake

Served this up with some cut up oranges and a few cranberries and a small drizzle of honey. Light and tasty and good for you too!! Some people may not care for tahini but seriously you can barely taste it in this cake. And with the addition of cinnamon the house smells really good.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups tahini
2 cups warm water
600 gr. gluten free Farina
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ground clove
juice and zest of 1 orange
1 cup walnuts, chopped

Start with sugar, tahini, water and slowly add flour. Then come the spices, the orange juice and zest and finally fold in the chopped walnuts. In our over it took about 50 minutes at 190 degree Celsius oven.
